Abstract
Amid the new technological discoveries, the animation has become an important means of expression and innovation in digital storytelling. This study was conducted to verify the use of digital animation as a teaching resource. To achieve the objectives, a study was conducted in two different educational settings, in order to investigate, through comparative analysis the assimilation of content through text and through the viewing of digital animation. The research results show that the use of animation  can stimulate attention, memory, and recall the content effectively.
